What Is Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga?

Among the different yoga styles, when it comes to the most demanding yoga practice, it is always Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga forms. Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga are the traditional yogic forms that have been practised since ancient times for intense energy, flexibility, and energy flows. Ashtanga Vinyasa flow follows a predefined set series. These yoga styles work by aligning the breath to the yoga postures. It is more like a dynamic flow where asanas and pranayama work together. In our Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training, you learn the various predefined sequences of Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga forms.

You learn how to synchronise breath (ujjayi), as well as the (vinyasa) or the movement during the dynamic and the most powerful sequence of yogas! Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga flow also teach the learners about the concept of bandhas and drishti. In drishti, you will be taught how to enhance your focus through the various gaze points. Bandhas mean the energy locks in yoga. By doing so, the focus enhances, and energy flows properly within the body. These practices are best for attaining flexibility, balance and mindfulness. The practices of Ashtanga and Vinyasa are vigorous in nature and offer great power and balance to the practitioners!
