This policy applies to all yoga retreats, teacher training courses and programs booked with Om Setu Yogashala, Rishikesh. By paying a booking deposit, you agree to the terms below. If anything here is unclear, please contact us on WhatsApp or email omsetuyogashala@gmail.com before you book.
1. Booking Deposit
To secure your place on any program, a deposit of 20% of the total fee is required in advance. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances, including visa refusal, illness, or change of travel plans.
2. Balance Payment
The remaining balance can be paid before or after you arrive in Rishikesh, but it must be settled before your program begins. Accepted payment methods are listed on our Payment page (PayPal or bank transfer via Wise.com).
3. If You Cancel Before Arrival
If you cancel your booking before arrival, the 20% deposit is forfeited. Any balance amount already paid beyond the deposit will be refunded, or — if you prefer — held as credit toward a future retreat or course within 12 months, subject to availability.
4. If You Leave During the Program
If, for any reason, you choose to leave a program early once it has started, we may consider a pro-rata refund of the balance fee (excluding the 20% non-refundable booking deposit). Each case is reviewed individually, and any refund percentage is offered at our discretion.
5. Rescheduling Your Dates
If your travel plans change, let us know as early as possible. We're happy to shift your booking to a different set of dates within 12 months, subject to availability — this does not require forfeiting your deposit again.
6. Changes or Cancellations by Om Setu Yogashala
In the rare event that we need to cancel or significantly change a program (for example, due to teacher unavailability, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control), we will offer you the choice of a full refund or a rescheduled date at no extra cost.
7. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and travel delays before departure, as Om Setu Yogashala is not responsible for costs arising from flight changes, visa issues, or personal travel disruptions.
8. How to Request a Cancellation, Refund or Reschedule
Email us at omsetuyogashala@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp with your full name and booking details. We aim to respond within 48 hours.
This policy works alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. We may update this policy from time to time; the version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to you.
